The Affiliate Program

As I mentioned previously, not everyone will be able to qualify for Amazon Associates. I would advise to either contact Amazon via email or Skype to find out if you are a suitable candidate before wasting time filling out online profiles, forms etc. Don’t despair if you are rejected or live in a state that doesn’t allow you to participate, there are many other great affiliate programs out there like the EPN (eBay Partner Network), they are a lot more lenient. You can read this brief training I provide on this opportunity HERE.

If you get rejected by Amazon and eBay then you can contact me directly and I will personally help you find an alternative affiliate program that will work for you and your niche. There are literally thousands of decent and independent affiliate programs online that will support any niche that you are working with.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

On the Amazon Associates home page scroll down until you see this:

By following these simple steps you will be able to register (if you qualify), learn how to obtain your personal affiliate links and start promoting Amazon products on your website, through social media or your blog etc.

You don’t need a website to get started but if you are promoting Amazon products on your site, make one hundred percent sure they are related to your content and overall theme. For example, don’t list computer and PlayStation games on a Health & Beauty website! It will cause confusion or cause potential customers to lose interest FAST!

Payouts

Click here to find out more about getting paid, plus all the necessary details and policies.

Check Fee:

Please note that Amazon will charge a $15 processing fee for all checks they send. If your billing address is outside of the United States they supposedly waive this fee. There is no processing fee if you choose to be paid via gift certificates or a direct deposit.

The minimum threshold for payment is $100 and you can also alter the threshold to be set higher if you go to “Account Settings” then click on the “Change Payment Method / Type”.

If Amazon owes you less than $100 or your personally set minimum threshold then the amount will roll over into the next month’s total and so forth.

Usually Amazon takes about 3 months to make payment. So if you earn commissions in January you will be paid at the end of March.

Overall Evaluation & Conclusion

I highly recommend the affiliate program (Amazon Associates) and feel it has tremendous potential to create a steady stream of passive income. There are no limits as to how many products you can promote or the commissions you can earn.

Please feel free to comment bellow if you have questions, concerns or any feedback. I will be happy to assist in any way possible 😉

Best regards,

Kamil

    Hey Kamil,

I’ve heard a lot of good things about the Amazon Affiliate program. It’s definitively a great place for affiliate marketers of all kinds of niche, it seems. I haven;t had the chance to really dive into it though since my niche is not as popular over there but I’ll look into it in the future. 🙂

    Thanks for sharing!

    Cheers,
    Anh
